Clayton Hutson is the Man Behind Spectacular Live Shows

Clayton Hutson is a hustler in the purest sense of the word – the man works hard, works long hours and gives 125% to everything he does. He even personally safety tests dangerous equipment. It shows, because those for whom he provides his services often request him. Who might those people be? Only Kid Rock, P!nk, Lady GaGa and the like. What does he do? Everything; that is, everything a touring artist needs: Production Design & Management, Show Production, Monitor Engineering, Logistics Management, Stage Management and Rigging.

Clay, as he prefers to go by, went to school for Theatre design and quickly gained experience working for companies that provide live entertainment solutions, corporate entertainment, Project and Stage management and even Billy Graham. Eventually he found his way to rock and roll and providing similar solutions and management services to touring musicians. He now works for himself and is in high demand by big name singers for the quality of work that he does. He double and triple checks everything that he is responsible for – yes, even the rigging.

That’s a big deal, especially when the quality of the rigging you set up is holding P!nk in the air while she does mid-show acrobatics. Nothing can ruin the reputation of a small business owner than knowing the product or service provided were not up to the customer’s standards. Clay does everything in his power to make sure the people in the audience are wowed every time. He is known for being the first person to arrive at the venue and the last person to leave. Part of the reason for his success is his organization: he ensures every task and chore, no matter how small, is acknowledged, assigned and carried out.

He has a unique, 360 degree, three steps ahead of everyone else kind of leadership style. He knows that he is the man paid to make sure everything works, and that’s what he does. He said in an interview with IdeaMensch “every piece of equipment must fit through the door, and it is my job to know the exact measurements of every door, in every arena.” It is essentially his job to make sure that the Artist’s shows look amazing, and he does his job well.

What kind of artist does he like to work with? The ones who are really involved in their shows. The kinds of artists that are looking to do more than just sing, to make their shows a spectacle. Lady GaGa and P!nk are two he mentions specifically for their show-stopping entertainment. He also mentions that Prince was an artist like that, and he really enjoyed working with him.

Alex Pall On How The Chainsmokers Came To Be

Nowadays, The Chainsmokers are a household name but their pervasive fame and fortune didn’t transpire overnight. So just how was the DJ and production duo able to achieve such worldwide fame so quickly? Mathias Rosenzweig recently sat down with Alex Pall to discuss the origins of their musical career, how they’ve dealt with their fame over the years and what lies ahead in their future. The two first crossed paths in the big apple when Taggart was matriculating at Syracuse University and Pall was still a fledgling DJ taking gigs in and around the city. After Pall’s manager introduced them, they began working together on a regular basis and, before they knew it, they dropped their first hit single, Selfie. A short while later, they released their next hit single, Roses, and it wasn’t long before the DJ and production duo had become a household name. The rest, as they say, is musical history.

What makes them unique is the fact that they actually sing on their own songs but Alex has insisted it’s necessary as the music pertains to his life. He also had a great time collaborating with Halsey as he discussed what a cool, unique and individual artist she is. They also feel a sense of closeness with their demographic which used to be mostly college students but has since expanded to include people of all ages. And they don’t take any of their fame for granted.

Pall made it quite clear how grateful he is for everyone who loves and listens to their songs. Their live shows have continued to evolve alongside the ever-changing music industry. They are particularly proud of the fact that, unlike many artists, they actually sing live during their concerts. And they’re planning on sticking around for as long as possible as Pall believes that if he took a hiatus and returned to the music scene a few years later, things just wouldn’t be the same. So we wish them the best of luck on the future of their music and hope they have continued success in the future of their career.

The Chainsmokers Seem To Be Taking Over EDM In 2018

Alex Pall and Andrew Taggart make up the Chainsmokers an American DJ/production duo. The two met through their manager who was then Alex’s manager. They immediately quit their jobs and settled in New York to focus on their dream and build a future around dance/electronic music. They have amassed so much honor in 2018 from releasing several top hits and obtaining numerous awards. The “Everybody hates me” hitmakers have hit the headlines after their march audio-only Track garnered 9 million views on Youtube in less than a month.

In the Billboard Music Awards that were held on Sunday, the duo paid tribute to the beloved Swedish DJ who had lost his life to Mental illness. They dedicated their award for the best dance/electronic act to him saying; they are where they are today because Avicii encouraged them to believe in themselves. He inspired them to be successful pop artists and they would miss him. Halsey, the star of the moment who collaborated with them on “Closer” and had accompanied encouraged the audience to watch out for their family and friends with Mental health issues, showing them love and supporting them the best way they know how to.

Tim Bergling, who was internationally known by his stage name, Avicii died on 20th April and his family revealed that he was mentally ill thus committing suicide. According to the president of Geffen Records, a label he worked with, his unreleased Tracks may be released. He is an Icon in the pop music industry and will be overwhelmingly missed by his fans and the EDM community in General.

The Chainsmokers are setting the bar high for other artists in the industry by having great visuals for their shows. In a recent show in Miami, the duo had an electrifying concert making all their fans happy. They performed both new songs and their commercial hits alongside electro mashups. Their handwork is paying off now that their efforts are being rewarded. In March this year, the iHeartRadio awards accorded them four awards marking it one of their high points this year. Now more than ever they are motivated to push through boundaries set by usual DJs.

Lawrence Bender Love on Films

Lawrence Bender has to be one of the greatest film producers of our time. He has created wonderful works of art in Inglorious Basterds, Pulp Fiction, and Good Will Hunting. A lot of these films have won awards because of how good they were produced. In this article, I’m going to be going over Lawrence Bender’s bio, how he got his start in film and also my favorite movie produced by him.

Lawrence Bender grew up in The Bronx, New York City, New York to a Jewish family. Growing up, he was never really all that interested in the arts. In high school, he was interested in becoming a civil engineer. Some of the reasons why were because his grandpa was a civil engineer and that it had good jobs in that field. So, Lawrence Bender enrolled at the University of Maine to pursue a degree in civil engineering. He graduated in 1979.

After college, Lawrence Bender started to dive into the arts. It was his dream to become a professional dancer but an injury permanently sidelined him. This injury is what lead Bender to his second love, film production.

Even though I have heard that Pulp Fiction and Inglorious Basterds are great films, I haven’t seen either one. However, I did see Good Will Hunting and that was amazing. In the movie, protagonist Will Hunting grows up as an orphan. He doesn’t really have a lot and faces many challenges growing up, abuse being the main one. He works the late shift as a janitor at MIT. One night while on his shift, he solves a very difficult problem that receives notice from faculty and students alike. One night, the professor who wrote the problem in the hallway tracks down Hunting. That professor eventually becomes Hunting’s mentor. He leads Hunting through the challenges he faces in his life with both his girlfriend and with life in general. All in all, I like the movie because of the challenges in it. However, the movie has a good ending when Will Hunting flies out to Stanford to meet his girlfriend, Skylar.
